This Privacy Policy describes how personal data processed through the noise measurement devices, web interfaces connected to these devices, and other digital services offered by Frekans is collected, used, stored, and protected. By using our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. 

1. Collected Data: User-provided name, surname , email address, phone number, password (stored cryptographically), customer and account information, and device registration information. Measurement results obtained from noise measurement devices (dB values, measurement time, duration), device serial numbers, device status and performance data, device location where possible, IP address, browser information, usage logs, cookie data, and system technical information. Automatically collected server logs, error records, and analytical usage data. 

2. Purposes of Data Processing: Management of noise measurement devices, displaying measurement results and presenting them to users, creating and verifying user accounts, customer support, billing and operational processes, monitoring device performance, product and service development, ensuring security and system integrity, fulfilling legal obligations, improving user experience. 

3. Legal Basis (KVKK 5–6): Personal data is processed based on the legal grounds of explicit consent, establishment or performance of a contract, legitimate interest, fulfillment of legal obligations and establishment/exercise/protection of a right. 

4. Data Transfer: Data may be shared with cloud infrastructure providers, technical service providers, security and maintenance companies, distributors and business partners, and, if legally required, with official institutions. If data is to be transferred abroad, the necessary permissions must be obtained in accordance with the obligations under Article 9 of the Personal Data Protection Law. 

5. Data Retention Periods: Personal data is retained for the period stipulated in relevant legislation and to the extent required for the purpose of processing. User account data may be retained for 2 years after account closure. Log records are retained for 6 months to 2 years; cookie data is retained for 6–12 months; and device measurement data is retained for the duration of the contract. 

6. User Rights: Under Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), users have the right to learn whether their personal data is being processed, access the processed data, request correction or deletion of data, request restriction of processing activities, request data portability, object to automated processing , and withdraw explicit consent. 7. Security Measures: Personal data is protected by technical and administrative measures such as encrypted data transfer (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, access controls, firewalls, server and network security, authorization controls, logging and monitoring systems. 

8. Cookie Policy: Our website may use mandatory cookies, performance cookies, and analytics cookies. Cookie preferences can be managed through your browser settings.  

9. Third-Party Links: Our website may contain links to third-party websites. FREKANS is not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. 

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy: This Privacy Policy may be updated as necessary. Updates will be effective immediately upon publication on the website.
